I know most skeptics got weary of Ben’s stuff and combined with nothing happening that’s why most went away. I am curious if he is OTT this season if anyone will come back to laugh at them on the RC (or at stuff I hope he won’t say or do this time but the content of his main film makes likely) like we used to or if it’d just be boring and sad at this point.
No denying he’ll have a great season work wise though as there’s not only massive praise for TPOTD but also now Wain (the TIFF description just called *that* a career best performance for him, which I really haven’t been expecting, I’ve long thought TPOTD was his big chance and was surprised to even see Wain on the lists, albeit much further down).
I don’t have much hope that if he actually gets an Oscar he’ll abandon all his idiocy, if that’s really what he wanted, or will finally feel fulfilled, but I guess it’s possible.
Yeah, I’ve moved on pretty much for good from everything BC-related, but I check your blog and some others’ from time to time to see how the story goes. And apparently, it’s the same old bullshit! XD

Can we please stop associating being a good person with how much you’re willing to suffer in silence for other people? You can be a kind person and still say “no, I don’t have the time/energy to help you with that.” You can be a kind person and still say “this makes me uncomfortable, please stop.” You can be a kind person and still say “I disagree and here’s why.” You can be kind and still say “I’m not okay with this.” Being kind is about treating people with kindness and respect, not about being the human equivalent of a doormat!
